Thesis statement

'Shockwaves have hit the EU like an out of control bulldoser'. Todays newspapers talk about the migrant crisis and the results. The Daily mail is negative towards the migrants. It's a xenophobic paper.  Xenophobia is fear or hatred of strangers or foreigners. For example, they use words such as 'migrant crisis' which refers to the people in a bad way. This is because 'migrant' says that they are coming by choice, where as 'refugee' shows that they don't have a choice. Another example is 'out of control bulldoser' the word 'bulldoser' refers to very aggressive and powerful in a negative way. The Daily Mail uses the word 'crisis' a lot. The Daily Mail makes it's readers believe what they already think.
